Team Lead Recovery
Position: Team Lead Recovery
Location: Karachi
Qualification & Experience:
Minimum Graduate.
Atleast 5+ years of relevant experience.
Job Description:
- Perform a weekly review of the situation of all existing or upcoming loans in event of default
- Make sure the recovery procedures are applied by the Recovery unit staff as well as the branch staff
- Check the defaulting clients files that come in for completeness and to take actions to improve their quality if needed
- Develop a comprehensive report for lawyers or legal officer should we have to go to court.
- Track the progress of the « Bad Debt – Recovery » unit and to give feedback.
- Recommend final write-off to Operations Manager when adequate.

Branch Manager
Position: Branch Manager
Location: Karachi- North Karachi
Qualification & Experience: Graduate along with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Job Description:
- Perform regular strategic market intelligence activities on competitors, market opportunities and clients needs
- Supervise the implementation of branch commercial strategy and prospection plan.
- Be a driving force in building partnerships and fostering healthy relationships with branch partners.
- Ensure the quality of the loan files presented in loan committee by the members of the branch.
- Support the recovery actions of the branch.
- Ensure the proper implementation of the Bank strategy and branch action plans.
- Closely monitor the commercial performance branch to ensure that commercial objectives are met (both in quantity and quality).
- Communicate the branch's business objectives, accomplishments and action plans during regular meetings and coordinate teams to achieve goals.
- Coach employees under direct supervision (OM, RM) to develop their technical skills (prospecting, credit analysis, recovery) and managerial skills (team management, work organization).
- Ensure strict compliance of branch activities according to the company’s standard (cf. policies, procedures and guidelines), with special regard to completeness of documentation.
- Ensure that branch has enough liquidity & cash in hand to perform their daily activities and anticipate the treasury needs.
- Deal with emergency issues (fire, robbery, serious misbehaviour of staff or client, as well as use regular test of alarm systems & CCTV cameras.

Collection Officer
Position: Collection Officer
Location: Karachi
Qualification & Experience: Graduate along with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Job Description:
- To perform a weekly review of the situation of all existing or upcoming loans in event of default (serious overdue status).
- To make sure the collection procedures are applied by the Collection unit staff as well as the branch staff.
- To check the defaulting clients files that come in for completeness and to take actions to improve their quality if needed (missing or unsigned documents, ..)
- To take concerted decisions with BMs on which clients and guarantors to seize - decisions based on different criteria.
- To track the progress of the Bad Debt –unit and to give feedback to Manager.
- To manage the relationship with valuers and auctioneers and ensure Halan Microfinance Bank obtains the returns it deserves.
- To recommend final write-off to Operations Manager when adequate.

Customer Sales Officer
Position: Customer Sales Officer

Qualification & Experience: Graduate along with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Job Description:
- Receive prospects and clients and answer their questions by giving information on the benefits, pricing and conditions of the products and services offered.
- Gather information from prospects to identify their profile, eligibility and potential needs, and input these elements into the appropriate tools.
- Create new clients and accurately record their information in the appropriate information systems.
- Carry out operations to subscribe clients to products and services (opening of accounts, subscription to services…) and operations on accounts (transfers, issuance of ATM cards and chequebooks…).
- Record clients’ loan applications and explain them the next steps and documents required.
- Prepare loan disbursements and conduct pre-disbursement interviews with clients.
- Record clients’ complaints.
- Classify and archive client files in the branch according to the archiving procedure.
- Ensure Fair Trade and Customer protection principles in all interactions with clients, trust, fairness, transparency and accountability.
- Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service

Fraud Investigation Officer
Position: Fraud Investigation Officer
Location: Karachi
Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field / Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) |
Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in fraud investigation, forensic accounting, or a related field, preferably within the financial sector.
Job Description:
- Monitor and analyze transactions and account activities to identify suspicious patterns.
- Conduct thorough investigations into suspected fraud cases, including document examination, interviewing relevant parties, and collecting evidence.
- Use data analytics tools and techniques to detect potential fraudulent activities.
- Prepare detailed investigation reports, including findings, evidence, and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all investigations and outcomes.
- Report findings to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
- Work closely with various departments, to gather information and support investigations.
- Coordinate with external agencies, such as law enforcement and regulatory bodies, during investigations.
- Provide clear and concise communication regarding investigation progress and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest fraud schemes and trends to enhance the bank’s fraud prevention measures.
- Ensure all investigations are conducted in compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
